Portable Local Assistant - Baby Theme

This package is a portable local-assistant runtime with the Baby brand skin.
The same runtime can be white-labeled through tenant/brand configuration.

Quick start:

1. Extract this whole folder onto your drive or local workspace folder.
2. Double-click Start Baby.cmd. The assistant opens in your usual browser.
3. Create a local profile and confirm this folder.

Use Close Baby in the app before safely ejecting your drive. Move the whole
folder to take the assistant to another Windows computer.

Optional: double-click Open Baby Automatically.cmd once on each computer.
The assistant then opens at Windows sign-in when your drive is connected, and
when you reconnect the drive while signed in. A small helper stays on that PC;
your chats stay on your drive. Drive-letter changes are supported.
Run Stop Opening Baby Automatically.cmd to remove the startup registration.
If you move the folder within the drive, enable it again from there.

Windows 64-bit. Python is included; no installation or admin access needed.
No dedicated graphics card is needed for the included local text tasks.
Minimum RAM/CPU and older-machine performance have not yet been established.
Internet is needed for online tasks. Mac/Linux/phone launchers are not included.

For command-line use, run:

Ask Wand.cmd "write a release checklist for this folder"
RJ.cmd ask "Should I launch this today?" --cost-wrong-yes 3 --evidence "++ tests passed" --evidence "? pricing page not reviewed"

Ask Wand talks only to the configured GenXis Wand gateway. Provider keys and
private routing stay server-side. If the folder is not connected yet, the
command asks for a GenXis gateway key instead of falling back to a model
provider.

RJ is local rented judgment. It weighs evidence with an inspectable forecasting
curve, turns probability into an expected-loss posture, asks one follow-up when
evidence is thin, writes receipts on the drive, and can score itself later with
Brier loss after you record what happened. RJ is a guide, not an oracle or
professional advice.

The local profile is not a verified online account. No email is sent.
The assistant understands plain requests for local tasks, research, reports,
email drafts, calendar drafts, connector previews, and saved drive searches.
If the request needs a skill that is not installed yet, the assistant saves a
typed skill request on the drive. New skills arrive only through hash-checked
code updates that you download and apply.
Email, calendar, and connector work is draft/setup/mock-only in this package:
nothing is sent, purchased, posted, or changed in outside accounts by default.
No provider key, external model, live SMTP, live calendar connector, or
resource sharing is enabled by default.
If you paste an API key into chat, the assistant moves it into
drive_profile/secrets/.env.local on your drive and saves only a redacted chat
message plus fingerprint metadata. Raw keys must not appear in browser files,
receipts, or chat history.

When internet is available, the assistant can check the stable update channel,
download a hash-checked code update to drive_profile/firmware/updates/staged,
and then wait for you to run Apply Baby Update.cmd. The update ZIP does not
contain chats, profiles, keys, language patches, mail, calendars, receipts, or
reports.
